I discovered last fall that some pharmacists were taking away a woman's right to birth control, and I'm happy to see someone taking a stand against this. NARAL has put together a web application that allows you to email a letter to the major pharmacy chains asking them to stop allowing their pharmacists to refuse to fill birth control prescriptions.

One of the most frustrating parts for me is the fact that so many women are using the pill to treat illnesses, not as birth control, and yet are being denied access to this treatment.

I am sad to say I live in a country where my right to medical treatment can be controled by anyone other than myself and my doctor. I sincerely hope this campaign will help bring this policy to an end.
